OBITUARY     (death certificate lists died on 17 Nov 1925)

AGED CITIZEN OF WEST VIEW PASSED AWAY
Hardinsburg--(Special)--General Lafayette GOODMAN, aged 89 years, died Tuesday, 
November 17, 1926 at his home in West View.
     About eleven days before his death, he developed pneumonia, and became 
worse from the time he was taken ill until he died.
     The funeral was held from the Methodist Church at West View on Wednesday 
afternoon.  Reverend Cundiff of Hardin County preached the funeral, and Masonic 
Lodge 67 of Hardinsburg were in charge.  Mr. GOODMAN had been a Mason for 65 
years.
     To Mr. GOODMAN and his first wife, several children were born, including 
two sons; 
V. GOODMAN of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mose GOODMAN of Hardin County, Ky
two daughters:
Mrs. Chintz ROYALTY of Kingswood, Ky
Mrs. Effie CONWAY of Big Clifty, Ky
who survive
