Trent-Dowell Funeral Home notice
Monnie Gootee, age 72 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday,3-30-2007 at Breckinridge 
Health, INC. She was born in Louisville, KY on 2-5-1935 to the late William 
Joseph and Ethel Virginia Butcher Gootee.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed 
reading the Bible and watching TV.  She attended Emmanuel Fellowship Church.
 
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Clint and Tammy Smiley of 
Louisville, KY
daughter & son-in-law: Susan and Donald Cheek of McDaniels, KY
3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren
2 sisters - Annie Carman and Alene Nottingham of Hardinsburg, KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Monday,4-2-2007 at 11AM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Stevenson and Bro. Chris Woosley officiating. 
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 
4:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Monday at the funeral home.
