     O. L. "Buster" HAIRE, 80 year old Harned, Ky resident, in Breckinridge 
County, died on Tuesday, October 1, 1996 in Hardinsburg.  He was born in 
Breckinridge County on June 5, 1916, a son of the late Steve and Mattie 
SMALLWOOD HAIRE.  He was a truck driver, an antique dealer, and a U.S. Army 
Veteran of World War II.
Surviving are:
his wife, Mrs. Gladys HAIRE of Harned, Ky

one daughter:
Jo Ann TABOR of Garfield, Ky
one son:
Gene HAIRE of Louisville, Ky
two sisters:
Christine CANTRELL of Radcliff, Ky
Lula MINTER of Custer, Ky
one brother:
Orbie HAIRE of Radcliff, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Friday, October 4, 1996 from the Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, with burial in Hudson Cemetery in Hudson, 
Ky.
