Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Gene Lewis Haire, age 74 of Vine Grove, KY died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 
Medco Center of Brandenburg,KY. He was born in Owensboro,KY on 9-28-1934, the 
son of the late Oscare Lewis and Gladys Lee Blair Haire. He was a retired 
mechanic and Navy veteran who loved fishing.
 
Gene is survived by his wife - Nina Thompson Haire of Vine Grove,KY
4 stepchildren: Larry Steven Carter and Angela Marie Clark of Louisville,KY
Mark Steven Carter of Iraq
Lisa Gayle Hartlage of Vine Grove,KY
7 grandchildren
1 sister: JoAnn Tabor of Garfield,KY
 
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 1PM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Rev. Frank McCallum officiating. Burial was in the Hudson 
Cemetery with military honors. Memorial contributions are requested to: Hudson 
Cemetery.
