Breckinridge County News; 12/1940
DAVID HARDAWAY

David Hardaway, at the age of 67 years, was found dead in bed at his Bewleyville
home, Monday Morning December 2.  Mr. Hardaway had been in ill health for sometime. 
He is survived by an only brother, Paul Hardaway in Brandenburg.  The funeral was
conducted at the Bewleyville Methodist church, Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, the
pastor Rev. R. L. Oliver, of Hardinsburg, officiating.  Burial in the Blanford
cemetery.

Mr. Hardaway for many years had been a devoted member of the Bewleyville Methodist
church, where he had missed Sunday School only seven times since he began attending
there when a mere lad.
