Hardin, widow of Moses B. Hardin died, September 20, 1894, at her home near Lodiburgh, aged seventy-seven years seven months and fourteen days. She suffered in her last illness for about three months, yet was very patient. She joined the Baptist church at Walnut Grove, about thirty years ago and lived a quiet christian to the end of her life. She was a loving and indulgent mother and a kind and obliging neighbor. Her loss is deeply mourned by her children and many relatives and friends. She was buried by the side of her husband in the family cemetery, on the farm where she spent all of her married life. Additional Comments: When Moses Hardin died, there was no county newspaper. The only known mention of his passing and where he was buried can be found in his wife's obituary.
