He was born in Germany on September 1, 1955, son of the late William Cilian and Hazel Frank Henninger Hardin. Chuck was a member of Kingswood Wesleyan Church, and retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department. He was very creative with his hands and his mind. He carved knives, made birdhouses, collected coins and Indian artifacts. He played the harmonica, and was an extremely funny man. His greatest asset was that he was kind to everyone, and very much a gentleman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his siblings: Billie Meier Jack Hardin Jenny Lou Snavely George Hardin Nannette Bates Chuck is survived by: one son two brothers one sister a sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12 p.m. with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery.
