      Mrs. Henry HARNED, age 78, died at the home of her son, D. G. HARNED 
of Guthrie, Oklahoma on Sunday, January 27, 1929, from a brief illness of 
influenza and pneumonia.  Before her marriage to Henry HARNED on March 27, 
1871, she was Miss Martha J. GREEN, and was born in Breckinridge County on 
September 7, 1851.  Mrs. HENDRY is survived by:
her husband
and the following children:
D. G. HARNED of Guthrie, Oklahoma (Logan County)
Lee HARNED of McAlister, Oklahoma (Pittsburg County)
Mrs. Lizzie B. ARROWSMITH  of Chickasha, Oklahoma (Grady County)
Mrs. Hattie B. SLAUGHTER of Chickasha, Oklahoma
Mrs. Myrtle SLAUGHTER of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Oklahoma County)
18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
     Mrs. HARNED had been a member of the Methodist Church since a girl, 16 
years of age, and had lived a consistent Christian life.
     The funeral was held at Walters, Oklahama in Cotton County, at 2:30 
p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 1929, with burial in the Walters Cemetery.
