Catherine Bell Harper, age 81 of Cloverport, KY died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 
Breckinridge Health, INC. She was born in Breckinridge County on 9-16-1927, 
the daughter of the late Payton and Jettie Carman Compton. She was a homemaker 
who loved spending time with her family and friends. She attended Bewleyville 
United Methodist Church and Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands - Sam Cundiff and Charlie Harper
sister - Raewanda Compton
brothers - Carol and James Compton
Catherine is survived by 4 children: Kim (Scott) Clark of Cloverport, KY
Judy (Walt) Baker and Sammy (Shirley) Cundiff of Irvington, KY
Delmer (Norma) Cundiff of Elizabeth, IN
7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 step great 
grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild
3 brothers - Tom Compton of Georgia
Johnny and Hollis Compton of Locust Hill, KY
3 sisters - Betty Dozer of Mississippi
Ressie Lemoine of Louisiana
Shirley Mattingly of Harned,KY 
special friends - Ellen Surrell and Maranda Meeks

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 1PM CDT at Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Compton officiating. Burial in the Ivy 
Hill Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 4-8PM CDT and after 8:30AM CDT 
Saturday.
