OBITUARY
     William "Willie" HARPER, age 89, died on Friday, November 24, 1961 at his 
home in Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County).
Mr. HARPER is survived by:
five daughters:
Mrs. Carl LASLIE of Hudson, Ky
Mrs. Amon B. CARMAN of Hudson, Ky
Mrs. Raymond NIX of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Mrs. Art LUTTERELL of Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County)
Mrs. Travis BUTLER of SeRee, Ky (Breckinridge County)
four sons:
Sidney HARPER of SeRee, Ky
James HARPER of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Lewis HARPER of East Gary, Indiana (Lake County)
Homer HARPER of Owensboro, Ky
39 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Monday, November 27, 1961 from the Fairview 
Church, and burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of the 
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, Ky.

     
     



Additional Comments:
Breckinridge County Cemetery Book, volume 1, published in 1991:
Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery, located on the north side of 
Highway 690, midway between Mook and SeRee in central Breckinridge County, 
approximately 3 miles east of Westview, on Highway 259.  The original section 
of the cemetery is located along side the church and behind the church.  The 
new section is across the road from the church.
