OBITUARY
James William HARPER, age 74, of Medco Center (Nursing Home) of Owensboro in 
Daviess County, Ky., formerly of SeRee, died on Monday, January 18, 1982 after an 
illness.  Born on May 17, 1907 in Breckinridge County, he was the son of the late 
Will HARPER and Alice LASLIE HARPER.  He was a farmer.  Survivors include:
three daughters:
Mrs. Rudelle LESLIE of Hardinsburg Route, Ky
Mrs. Shirley NEYENHAUS of Tell City, Indiana (Perry County)
Mrs. Alice CHRISTIAN of Tell City, Indiana
one son:
Ronnie HARPER of Hardinsburg, Ky
12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 1982 from the 
Chapel of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  The Reverend Larry 
Stoess, officiating.  Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.

James William HARPER has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church 
Cemetery at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
