OBITUARY
Sidney HARPER, age 84, of SeRee in Breckinridge County, died Monday, May 29, 
1989 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, after a lengthy 
illness.  Mr. HARPER was born May 1, 1905 in Breckinridge County, a son of 
the late Will and Alice LASLIE HARPER.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Ellen CARMAN HARPER
three daughters:
Mrs. Helen WHITWORTH of SeRee, Ky
Mrs. Margie DENNIS of SeRee, Ky
Mrs. Florine DRANE of SeRee, Ky
three sisters:
Mrs. Jessie NIX of Westview, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Rachel CARMAN of Hudson, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Edith BUTLER of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
one brother:
Lewis HARPER of Illinois
10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren
     The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on  Thursday, June 1, 1989 from 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with the Reverend Elvas Graham, 
officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Sidney HARPER has a tombstone at the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery 
at SeRee, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
