OBITUARY   Page 5

   Elizabeth HARRINGTON, age 91, of Richmond, Indiana in Wayne County,  died 
on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at Reid Hospital in Richmond.  She was born 
February 14, 1912 in Constantine, Ky in Breckinridge County, a daughter of the 
late J. H. HARRINGTON and Mary E. BRUNER HARRINGTON.
     She was a 1936 graduate of Western State Teachers College, and earned her 
Masters Degree from Ball State in 1951.  She retired as a school teacher in 
1974.  She first taught in Breckinridge County and then in New Castle, Indiana 
from 1936--1949; served as a counselor at Cotty College in Nevada, Missouri, 
and then as Director of Residence and Student Activities in Eastern Montana 
College, Billings, Montana.  When she went to Richmond in 1952, she was a 
counselor at Test Jr. High School until her retirement.
     She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Altrusa Club, PEO 
Sisterhood (Chapter CT), Retired Classroom Teachers Association, and Delta 
Kappa Gamma Society, and was a former member of Business abd Professional 
Women.
Miss HARRINGTON is survived by:
her twin sister
three sisters-in-law
several nieces and nephews
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at the Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Bruner Cemetery in 
Custer.
