OBITUARY
     Fred HAWKINS, age 92 of Cloverport, died on Thursday, September 3, 1970 
at Breck-Haven Nursing Home in Hardinsburg.  He was a retired farmer, and born 
July 11, 1878 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Silas & Mary Alice 
CHAPIN HAWKINS.  He is survived by:
three sisters:
Mrs. Bevia MAYSEY of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Ollie DOWELL of Alexis, Illinois (Mercer & Warren Counties)
Mrs. Effie MILLER of Alexis, Illinois
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 6, 1970 from the Dhonau 
Funeral Home, Cloverport, and burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery.
