OBITUARY

     George Mason HAWKINS, 63 years old, died at his home near Mattingly on 
January 19, 1932.  He was born in that Community on February 15, 1868, and was 
married March 4, 1897 to Miss Lulie PATE of near Cloverport, who survives with
four children:
three daughters:
Mrs. Hubert MILLER
Mrs. Ollie MILLER
Miss Elmina HAWKINS
one son:
Godfrey HAWKINS who lives near Mattingly.
6 grandchildren
two brothers (not named)
four sisters (not named)
besides a host of friends.
     Mr. HAWKINS united with the Pisgah Baptist Church about 1894.  He was very 
charitable both in works and deeds, and lived a very noble life.
