OBITUARY
     Mrs. Mary Ruth HAYCRAFT, age 87, of Sample, Ky in Breckinridge County, died 
on Saturday, October 29, 1988, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg, 
after a lengthy illness.  Mrs. HAYCRAFT was born in Daviess County, Ky on 
February 14, 1901, a daughter of the late Jimmy T. and Vitula ROBERTS (should be 
ROBBINS) DOWELL.   She was a member of the Sample United Methodist Church.  Her 
husband, William HAYCRAFT, and two children, preceded her in death.
She is survived by:
one daughter:
Mrs. Martha Jean HORSLEY of Sample, Ky
one son:
Virgil Lee HAYCRAFT of Hardinsburg, Ky
one sister:
Mrs. Hester DAFFRON of Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County)
14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Monday, October 31, 1988 at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg, and burial was in Sample Cemetery.
