VIRGIL LEE (SAM) HAYCRAFT  1928-2005
     Virgil Lee "Sam" HAYCRAFT, age 77, of Irvington, Ky in Breckinridge County, 
died on Friday, September 23, 2005 at Medco Center (Nursing Home), Hardinsburg.  
He was born in Daviess County, Ky on May 21, 1928, a son of the late William and 
Mary Ruth DOWELL HAYCRAFT.  He was retired from Louisville Paving as a roller 
operator, a member of the Sample United Methodist Church, and an Army veteran of 
the Korean War.  Mr. HAYCRAFT is survived by:
three sons
four daughters
19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren
one sister:
Jean HORSLEY of Sample, Ky
     Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with the Reverend Harry DOOLEY officiating.  Burial was in Sample 
Cemetery.
