OBITUARY

     Raymond Triplett HAYNES, age 93, of Route 1, Irvington, in Breckinridge 
County, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, December 7, 1989.  He was born 
in Breckinridge County on October 18, 1896, a son of the late George and Mary 
Jane TRIPLETT HAYNES.  He was a farmer, and a member of the Garfield 
Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Erie MORGAN HAYNES
two sons:
Willard HAYNES of Leitchfield, Ky (Grayson County)
Emmit HAYNES of Lousville, Ky (Jefferson County)
one sister:
Mrs. Elizabeth SIPES of Louisville, Ky
4 grandchildren and one great grandson
     A private service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 1989 
from the chapel of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in 
the Hensley Cemetery near Garfield.
