HAYNES, RAWANDA  "Teeny"
     Mrs. Rawanda "Teeny" HAYNES, age 89, of Fairdale, Ky in Jefferson County,
returned to her 
Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 4, 2018.  She was born on October 7, 1928 in
High Plains, 
Kentucky in Breckinridge County to Charles "Brown" and Eva Mae BOARD LUCAS.  Teeney
was 
married to her husband, L. D., for 72 memorable years.  She was a homemaker and
worked for 
Jefferson County Public Schools for 15 years, and was a member of Parkland Baptist
Church.
     A devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother, Teeny HAYNES
exemplified 
kindness and understanding, and was a blessing to all who knew and loved her.  She
loved 
spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and enjoyed
writing, 
sewing, puzzles, and Gospel Music.
Mrs. HAYNES is preceded in death by:
her parents--Charles and Eva Mae BOARD LUCAS
one son:
Jerry Dean HAYNES
two sisters:
Cora LUCAS
Louise MILBURN
five brothers:
Harold LUCAS
Julius "Doc" LUCAS
Walter "Chuck" LUCAS
Lee LUCAS
Jackie LUCAS

Teeny is survived by:
her husband, L. D. HAYNES
one daughter
one son
5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
three sisters
two brothers
numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and a host of loving family members.
     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in
the chapel 
of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Highway, with
burial in 
High Plains Cemetery, Breckinridge County.
