OBITUARY
     Arthur HAYNES, age 92, of Hardinsburg, Ky., died Saturday, March 24, 1984, 
at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg.  A Breckinridge County 
native, he was born August 12, 1891, a son of the late Joe and Nelia KIPER 
HAYNES.  (Her maiden name was OVERTON, not KIPER).  He was a retired farmer.  
His wife, Nellie, preceded him in death.
He is survived by:
one daughter
one son
6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 1984 at the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, 
Ky.
