OBITUARY  
     Cloyd Lee HAYNES, age 78, of Griffin, Indiana (Posey County), died Friday, 
January 28, 2011 at Transcend Healthcare in Owensville, Indiana (Gibson County), 
after a lengthy illness.
     Cloyd attended school at Freedom, and Breckinridge County High School.  He 
worked for Mathis Hook and Blancett Motor Company for many years.  He owned and 
operated a Western Auto Store for 13 years, while at the same time, worked to 
build up his farmland, and raised registered Angus cattle.
     He loved farming and enjoyed sitting on his deck and spending time with his 
wife, family, and friends.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his 
motorcycle, and being with his dog, CoCo.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents, Morris and Margaret Leigh BRUINGTON HAYNES
three brothers:
Kenneth HAYNES
Ernie HAYNES
Calvin HAYNES
three sisters:
Ella POTTS
Carolyn BUTLER
Anna Laura BRISON

He is survived by:
his wife, Theresa HAYNES
one daughter
1 grandson & 1 granddaughter
2 step-grandsons; 4 step-great grandchildren
one brother
four sisters
one uncle
and many nieces and nephews
     Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan 30, 2011 from the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in Freedom Cemetery.








Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church lies 
east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, 
Ky.
