OBITUARY    (left side of obituary is cut off)
     Morris HAYNES, a 70 year old Hardinsburg resident died at his residence 
on Monday, February 25, 1974 of an apparent heart attack.  He was born 
November 5, 1903 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Peyton and Mary 
BREAR HAYNES.
Survivors include:
his wife, Mary HAYNES of Hardinsburg, Ky
seven daughters:
Mrs. Ann LEBAROFF of Springfield, Ohio
Mrs. Reta VAN DYKE of Springfield, Illinois
Mrs. Louise HAYES of Jacksonville, Illinois
Mrs. Gladys SCHEIBNER of Jacksonville, Illinois
Mrs. Ella POTTS of Glen Dean, Ky
Mrs. Carolyn BUTLER of Bloomington, Indiana
Mrs. Darlene TABOR of Garfield, Ky
three sons:  
Cloyd HAYNES of Hardinsburg, Ky
Kenneth HAYNES of Mount Washington, Ky
Morris HAYNES of Girard, Illinois
one sister, Mrs. Franklin MEADOR of Bowling Green, Ky
one brother, Blanford HAYNES of Hardinsburg, Ky
24 grandchildren
     Services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 1974 from Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Garfield.  Burial will be in the Freedom 
Cemetery under the direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  
Mr. HAYNES' grandsons will serve as pallbearers. (not named)

                    CORRECTION:
     The name of Mrs. Margaret HAYNES, widow of Morris HAYNES, was 
inadvertantly listed as Mrs. Mary HAYNES in Mr. HAYNES' obituary which 
appeared in the February 28 issue of this newspaper.
     The name of one son, Ernie HAYNES of Liberty, Missouri was omitted in the 
list of survivors, and the name of a daughter, Mrs. Gladys SCRIBNER of 
Jacksonville, Illinois, was misspelled SCHEIBNER.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions: Turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church 
lies east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge 
County, Ky.
