OBITUARY
     Proctor HAYNES, a 93 year old Hardinsburg resident, died on Monday, 
September 28, 1992, at Medco Center (Nursing Home) in Hardinsburg.  Mr. HAYNES 
was born on November 16, 1898 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Daniel 
Hardin HAYNES and Eliza DOWELL HAYNES.  He was a retired farmer, and member of 
the Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by:
his wife, Vina HAYNES
one daughter, Ruby Jewel HAYNES
          He is survived by:
one daughter
2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren
     The funeral will be held on Friday, October 2, 1992 at the Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Garfield.  Burial will be in the Freedom 
Cemetery, under the direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.

immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from Kentucky Highway 60.  The church 
lies east of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge 
County, Ky.
