Page 5,  Mrs. Martha Haynes Dead

     Surrounded by all her near relatives, children, and grandchildren, and 
her only surviving sister, Mrs. Eliza Barnett, who arrived from her home in 
Evansville, Indiana, the 28th ult.  Mrs. Martha J. Haynes passed from the 
stage of life about 4:00 Sunday afternoon, July 1, 1894, lacking only 5 days 
of reaching her 77th milestone along the march of life.  Her remains were 
conveyed to the family burying ground on her son's, J. H. Haynes farm by 
undertaker A. Right, of Brandenburg, and there removed from the hearse and 
lowered into the tomb by her grandsons:
Haynes, Gabe, and Harvey Board
Henry and Charlie Shacklett
Gus Haynes

Dr. and Mrs. Wells, Mr. and Mrs. James Bland, Mrs. Dowdy, Mrs. Hemstetter, 
Mrs. Jim Fontaine, and Mrs. E. A. Coleman of Brandenburg, attended the 
funeral.
