OBITUARY
     Mrs. Eula Hope HAYNES, age 97 of Hardinsburg, died on Friday, January 
16, 1987 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  She was born 
in Breckinridge County on January 14, 1890, a daughter of the late Winfield 
Scott CART and Miranda PARR.  Her husband, Abraham HAYNES preceded her in 
death in 1929.  She is survived by:
one daughter:
Mrs. Elizabeth SMITH of Hardinsburg, Ky
one grandson and 2 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 1987 at 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Union Star 
Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Abraham HAYNES has a tombstone at the Union Star Cemetery, located at Union 
Star, Ky.  I could not find a tombstone for his wife, Eula Hope CART HAYNES 
listed in either cemetery book or what is posted for Union Star Cemetery 
here on the Archives site.  She did not die until 1987.  (see her obituary I 
posted on this Archives site)
