OBITUARY

     Ernie L. HECKMAN, age 66, died on Sunday at his home.
     He was a retired Detective for the Louisville Police Department, owner of 
Heckman & Son Concrete Contractors, an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a 
member of Fraternal Order of Police, and S.S. (Saints) Simon and Jude Catholic 
Church.
He is survived by:
his wife, the former Virginia BARTLEY
five sons
one daughter
one brother
one sister
10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild
FUNERAL:  10 a.m. Wednesday, his church, 4335 Hazelwood Avenue
BURIAL: Dry Valley Gulch Baptist Church Cemetery in Mystic
VISITATION: Arch L. Heady & Son, 7710 Dixie Highway
            10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday
MEMORIAL GIFTS: Hospice of Louisville
