OBITUARY    Page 5
     Jack Hardin Henning, age 68, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Hardinsburg, died  
Sunday, April 23, 2000, at Sunrise Manor in Hodgenville.  Mr. Henning was born in 
Harned, the son of the late John Cabe (should be John Gabe) and Clara Hardin 
Henning.  He was retired from the U.S. Navy, and was also the former owner and 
operator of an engine repair shop.
     A daughter, Lola Faye Henning, preceded him in death in 1962, also a 
brother, Robert Henning, and a sister Mildred Yeiser.
Surviving him are:
one son
one daughter
4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
     The funeral was held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, April 26, 2000) at the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery.
