Gladys Irene Webb Davis Henninger, age 76 of Harned, KY died Saturday, 
September 19, 2009 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in 
Breckinridge County, KY on March 24, 1933, the daughter of the late Philip and 
Bevia Skaggs Webb. Irene attended Harned United Methodist Church and retired 
from Galante Studio after 26 years of employment. She loved spending time with 
her family especially her grandchildren and her sister Ruby. She enjoyed 
traveling and going to yard sales.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Henninger and 6 brothers: Robert, 
Floyd, Harold Edward, Arvin, Leonard and Willard.
 
Irene is survived by 5 children: Tom and Teena Davis of Custer, KY
Tim and Pam Davis of Reserve, LA
Roger Davis of Madison, WI
Janice and Dale Boeck of Cary, NC
Kevin and Sharon Davis of Hardinsburg, KY
15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren
1 sister - Ruby Dowell of Irvington, KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 1PM at Trent-
Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Carden officiating. Burial will be in the 
Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8PM and after 
8:30AM Tuesday.
 
Memorial contributions are requested to: Kosair Charities or Breckinridge 
Memorial Hospital.
