Breckinridge News; 8/16/1893
Mrs. C. F. Heyser died at her sister's Mrs. Bennett, Irvington, Ky., at 3 o'clock on
the morning of Aug. 12th.  Many loving hands waited for an opportunity to administer
to her wants.  Last September she left Kentucky with her husband and babe for New
Mexico with a hope of improving her health.  In a short time she was taken to Elpaso
Texas.  After some months to Ashville, N. C. then home to live only a few days.  Her
friends could not be numbered.

To-day as I set immersed in sadness, I recall the past, think of the present, and
would what the future has in store for me.  I can think of no important event in my
past life that was not connected with the dear one who passed away on the morning of
the 12th.

May God pity and bless the dear husband.  Sweet little May, a loving mother,
brothers, sisters, cousins and friends whom dear Lizzie leaves behind.  May we never
forget her last words "Take care of my baby and meet me in Heaven."  Our grief
though deep, God can cure.
