OBITUARY
     Mary Logan HICKERSON, an 89-year-old Sample, Ky resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Saturday, March 24, 1990, at Medco Center (Nursing Home) in 
Hardinsburg, following a lengthy illness.  Mrs. HICKERSON was born in 
Breckinridge County on December 17, 1900, a daughter of the late William H. and 
Acretta PATE JOLLY.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris HICKERSON 
in 1985.
Mrs. HICKERSON is survived by:
three daughters:
Mrs. Earl (Jewell) SHELMAN of Carrollton, Ky (Carroll County)
Mrs. Jarrett (Marcella) KINDER of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Thomas (Ruth) MOTNEY/MATENY of Harrodsburg, Ky (Mercer County)
4 grandsons; 1 great grandson
     The funeral was held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 1990, at Sample 
United Methodist Church.  Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, was in charge 
of arrangements, and burial was in Sample Cemetery.
