OBITUARY
     Morris HICKERSON, an 88-year-old Sample, Ky resident of Breckinridge County,
died 
at 10:00 a.m. on September 20, 1985, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.
 
Mr. HICKERSON was born April 28, 1897, a son of the late Logan and Sally ROBBINS 
HICKERSON.  He was a retired L.& N. Railroad employee and farmer, and a member of
the 
Sample United Methodist Church.
Mr. HICKERSON is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Mary Logan HICKERSON
three daughters:
Mrs. Jewell SHELLMAN of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Marcella KINDER of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Ruth MATNEY, Harrodsburg, Ky (Mercer County)
one sister:
Mrs. Mayme MILLER of Hardinsburg, Ky
one brother:
Stanley HICKERSON of Hardinsburg, Ky
4 grandsons
     The funeral was held on Monday, September 23, 1985 from the Sample United 
Methodist Church, under the direction of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.
 
Burial was in Sample Cemetery.
