OBITUARY  Page 5    LAWRENCE HINES  1915-2003
     Lawrence HINES, age 87, of Hardinsburg, Ky, died on Wednesday, January 29, 
2003 at the Medco Center (Nursing Home) of Hardinsburg.  Mr. HINES was born on 
February 20, 1915 in Locust Hill, Ky in Breckinridge County.  Mr. HINES was the 
son of Lawrence HINES and Nannie DAVIS.  He was a retired mechanic, and the 
owner/operator of a general store.  Survivors include:
his wife Mrs. Louise HINES
two sisters:
Pauline MATTHEWS of Hardinsburg, Ky
Ruby TAUL of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
     The funeral was held on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg, with the Reverend Doug Stilwell officiating.  Burial was in 
Sample Cemetery.
