OBITUARY
Mrs. Nancy DAVIS HINES, a 93 year old Hardinsburg resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Sunday, February 17, 1985 at the Medco Center (Nursing Home) 
in Hardinsburg.  She was born  in Breckinridge County on November 15, 1891, 
a daughter of the late Ned and Molly HUFF DAVIS.  Mrs. HINES was preceded in 
death by her husband, Lawrence HINES in 1931, and two sons, L.D. HINES in 
1983 and Lee HINES in 1984.  She is survived by:
four daughters:
Mrs. Myrtle BLAIR of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Ruby TAUL of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Anna NEFF of Route #2, Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Pauline MATTHEWS of Union Star, Ky (Breckinridge County)
one son:
Lawrence HINES of Sample, Ky (Breckinridge County)
18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren
     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. today (Wednesday, February 
20, 1985) at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in the 
Turpin Cemetery at Locust Hill.

Mrs. Nancy DAVIS HINES has a tombstone at the Turpin Cemetery #1 at Locust 
Hill, in Breckinridge County, Ky.
FYI: Ned is a "Ye olde English" nickname for Edward.
