Page 1, DEATH, LAST FRIDAY (May 12, 1899)

John HINTON, a farmer, 40 years old who lived near Balltown (Breckinridge 
County), Ky.  While seated by the fireplace at his son's adjoining farm a storm 
came up.  Lightening followed the draft of the flue and struck Mr. HINTON.  He 
was killed instantly.  He leaves a married son, a widower, who will remove to the 
father's farm, and take the bereaved family under his charge.



Additional Comments:
I did not find a tombstone for Mr. HINTON in the Breckinridge County 
Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991.
