OBITUARY
     Denver E. HOBBS, age 77, died at his Hardinsburg home on Thursday, July 7, 
1988, following a short illness.  Mr. HOBBS was born in Breckinridge County on 
April 27, 1911, a son of the late William Peyton HOBBS and Barbara NICHOLSON 
HOBBS.  He was a farmer, and a member of Faith Community Church in Garfield.
     He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth ROBBINS HOBBS
2 daughters
three sons
one sister
one brother
11 grandchildren; one great grandchild
     Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 10, 1988 from the chapel of the 
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, Ky.
