Mr. HOBBS, a farmer and a veteran of World War II, was born April 9, 1922, the son of the late William H. and Barbara NICHELSON HOBBS. He is survived by: his widow, Mrs. Helen NORTON HOBBS two daughters: Mrs. Magdalene DRAKE of Vine Grove, Ky Mrs. Donna FRENCH of Lodiburg, Ky four sons: John HOBBS of Harned, Ky Joe HOBBS of Harned, Ky Pernell HOBBS of Harned, Ky Rodman HOBBS of Harned, Ky one sister, Mrs. Mona HINES of Louisville, Ky two brothers: Denver HOBBS of Hardinsburg, Ky Dennie HOBBS of Hardinsburg, Ky The funeral was held on Monday from the Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Garfield. Burial was in the church cemetery with the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: #0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.
