     Mrs. Rosa HOBBS, age 73, died at her home in Ekron, Ky., in Meade County 
on Sunday, August 25, 1963. 
     She is survived by:
three daughters:
Mrs. Cova GRAY of Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana
Mrs. Glen NORTON of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Ernest POOLE of Ekron, Ky
one son, Oval HOBBS of Ekron, Ky
two brothers:
Taylor SIMMONS of Ekron, Ky
Ben SIMMONS of Ekron, Ky
three sisters:
Mrs. Wilber SKAGGS of Irvington, Ky
Mrs. Dora CONDER of Owensboro, Ky
Mrs. Gola STEWART of Owensboro, Ky
     The funeral was held on Tuesday, August 27, 1963, from the Freedom 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in which she was a member.  Burial was in the 
church cemetery, under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington.

immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, Ky.
