OBITUARY
PERCY HOCKENBERRY
     Percy HOCKENBERRY, age 60, of Locust Hill, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died 
Thursday, November 2, 1972 at the A. B. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, 
Ky., Fayette County.  He was born in Breckinridge County on September 26, 1912, 
and was the son of Asa and Rosie POOLE HOCKENBERRY.
     He is survived by:
his Father, Asa HOCKENBERRY
his wife, Mrs. Ella HOCKENBERRY
four sons:
Coleman HOCKENBERRY of Westview, Ky
William Ernest HOCKENBERRY of Hawesville, Ky
James HOCKENBERRY of Locust Hill, Ky
Danny Dale HOCKENBERRY of Locust Hill, Ky
four daughters:
Mrs. Mary Alice HIGHFILL of Tell City, Indiana
Mrs. Shirley HARRISON of Tell City, Indiana
Mrs. Imogene ELVERD of Cannelton, Indiana
Mrs. Dottie HARRISON of Cannelton, Indiana
five sisters:
Bertha DUKE of McQuady, Ky
Margie STILWELL of Cloverport, Ky
Florence DUKE of Tell City, Indiana
Mary J. NIX of Racine, Wisconsin
Christine MILLER of Hardinsburg, Ky
three brothers:
Bob HOCKENBERRY of Locust Hill, Ky
Wilbur HOCKENBURRY of Sulphur, Indiana
Oscar HOCKENBERRY of Tell City, Indiana
17 grandchildren
     The services were held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 1972 from the Locust 
Hill United Methodist Church.  Interment was in Locust Hill Cemetery under the 
direction of the Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.
