OBITUARY 
CLARENCE HORSLEY
SAMPLE -- Clarence "Shorty" HORSLEY, age 71, of Sample, Ky in Breckinridge 
County, died on Friday, July 23, 1993, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital 
in Louisville, Ky., (Jefferson County).  Mr. HORSLEY was born in Breckinridge 
County.  He was a retired farmer, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served in 
World War II.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sallie DOWELL and Loe 
HORSLEY.
He is survived by:
four brothers:
William HORSLEY of Wireton, Illinois (Cook County)
Omer HORSLEY of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
George HORSLEY of Sample, Ky
James MORGAN of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
five sisters:
Mae Alice MORGAN of Cloverport, Ky
Nellie WATTERS of Gilmer, Texas (Upshur County)
Cora WATTERS of Inverness, Florida (Citrus County)
Revil ROETTGER of Tell City, Indiana (Perry County)
Isabelle GOODMAN of Inverness, Florida
several nieces and nephews
     Services are at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 1993 at the Wallace Funeral 
Home, Cloverport.  Burial in Sample Cemetery.
