OBITUARY 
GEORGE HORSLEY
     George HORSLEY, age 65, of Sample, Ky in Breckinridge County, died Saturday, 
April 11, 2015 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  He was a retired 
river boat tankerman.  Mr. HORSLEY is survived by:

Omer HORSLEY
James HORSLEY
one sister:
Revil ROETTGER
     Services: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, 
Hardinsburg.  
BURIAL: Jolly Cemetery, Sample

     GEORGE HORSLEY, age 65 of Sample, Ky., died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  He was born April 17, 1949 in 
Sample, Ky, the son of the late Loe and Allean BOARD HORSLEY.  George worked as a 
riverboat tankerman, and retired after many years of service.  He enjoyed fishing 
and hunting, reading -- especially anything about history and watching old 
movies, and boxing.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters:
Margie HORSLEY
William HORSLEY
Robert HORSLEY
Clarence HORSLEY
Cora WATTERS
Isabelle GOODMAN
Mae Alice MORGAN
Nellie WATTERS

He is survived by:
his long time companion, Jean HORSLEY of Sample, Ky
two brothers
one sister:
Revil ROETTGER
and numerous nieces and nephews
     Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 
April 15, 2015 at 1 pm.
Burial will be in Jolly Cemetery in Sample, Ky.
