     Mrs. Mary F. HOWARD, age 63 of Hardinsburg, died Monday, May 1, 1995, at 
Medco Center in Hardinsburg.  Mrs. HOWARD was born in Ohio County, Ky on 
December 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Franklin & Anna Martina BALLOU 
HOWARD.  She was a housewife, and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist 
Church.  Her husband, Richard HOWARD, a daughter, Nancy Lee HOWARD, and a 
brother, James Ernest HOWARD, preceded her in death.  Surviving are:
seven daughters
four sisters:
Lucille BASHAM of Lewisport, Ky (Hancock County)
Nettie ZIEGLAR of Hardinsburg, Ky
Sally WOODS of Hardinsburg, Ky
Anna ZARATE of Illinois
12 grandchildren & one great grandson
     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 1995 at the New Bethel 
Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery under the direction 
of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.

Additional Comments:
Mrs. Mary F. HOWARD HOWARD, her husband, Richard HOWARD, their daughter, 
little Nancy Lee HOWARD, and Mary's brother, James Ernest HOWARD, all have a 
tombstone.
