JAMES W. HOWARD
     James Wilford HOWARD, an 80-year-old Route 2, Hardinsburg resident, died 
on Friday, August 28, 1992, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, Ky 
(Logan County).  Born in Breckinridge County on November 17, 1911, a son of 
the late Van & Nancy JARVIS HOWARD.  He is survived by:
one daughter
three sons
three sisters:
Anna Mae DURBIN of Stephensport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Martha FINKLER of Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County)
Mary PHILLIPS of Route 3, Hardinsburg, Ky
one brother:
Ivan HOWARD of Dexter, Indiana
two grandchildren
     The funeral was held on Sunday, August 30, 1992 at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the New Bethel Cemetery.

Little Richard Eugene HOWARD, and his father, James Wilford HOWARD have a tombstone.
