Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Anna Elizabeth "Betty" Howard, age 81 of Owensboro,KY and formerly of 
Hardinsburg,KY died Friday, 2-13-2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She 
was born in Tell City, IN on 2-1-1928, the daughter of the late Dewey and 
Daphine Raley Basinger. She attended St. Romuald Catholic Church and enjoyed 
reading and working crossword puzzles. She retired as a dietary assistant.
 
Betty was preceded in death by her husband - Robert Howard
her son - David Howard, Sr
her brother - Dewey "Bud" Basinger, Jr.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Bob and Donna Howard of 
Winterville,NC
4 grandchildren: Robbie Howard, Micky Dunigan, Karen Burton and David Howard, 
Jr.
4 great grandchildren: Tiffany Hoskins, Caitlin Dunigan, Gabriella and 
Elizabella Howard
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2-17-2009 at 10AM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Fr. Tony Bickett officiating. Burial will be in the McQuady 
Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Tuesday. 
Memorial contributions are requested to: St. Romuald Catholic Church.
