MRS. HOWARD'S FUNERAL
     The funeral of Mrs. Laura P. HOWARD of New York City, formerly of 
Cloverport, took place at Jeffersonville (Clark County), Indiana last Thursday 
morning at 10:00 (October 1, 1903), from the residence of her husband, Captain 
William HOWARD.
     The body arrived from Washington, D.C. Wednesday (September 30), and 
burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Thursday.
     Mrs. A. A. La HEIST of this city (Cloverport), and Miss Sallie E. MILLER 
of Washington, D.C., both nieces of Mrs. HOWARD, attended the funeral.
