Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings
Michael Alexander "Alex" Howell, age 2 passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 
his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY on 4-10-2006. Alex was a member of 
Harned United Methodist Church. He was a very outgoing and active boy who loved 
playing with his cars, watching movies, playing basketball and baseball. With a 
little help from his Dad, he was able to dunk on a 7 ft goal, quite an 
accomplishment for a 2 year old!  He loved animals and had no fear of them. On 
a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo, he discovered that his favorite animal was a 
monkey.  With the help of his Dad, he was able to dunk on a 7ft goal, quite an 
accomplishment for a 2 year old. From the roar and applause of the crowd, it 
seemed that a National Championship had just been won!
 
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Charles and Marlene Fallon, 
John F. and Milda Alexander, Wilbur and Anna Howell, Robert Neil Taylor, SR.
 
Alex is survived by his parents - Brent and Kim Howell of Harned,KY
Brothers and Sister - Joseph Neil, Jillian LeeAnn and Daniel Adam Howell of 
Harned,KY
Grandparents: Joe and Nancy Howell of Hardinsburg,KY
Neil and Michele Taylor of McDaniels,KY
Steve and Glenn Mason of Crestwood,KY
Great Grandparents: William and Wilma Wise of Louisville,KY
Joyce Taylor of Prospect,KY
6 uncles - Ryan, Robert and Kyle Taylor
Scott, Mark and Tyler Howell
1 cousin - Ryleigh Howell
 
Funeral services for Alex will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 1PM CDT 
at Harned United Methodist Chutch with burial in the Harned Cemetery. 
Visitation at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM CDT 
and after 8:00AM CDT Wednesday. In memory of Alex, contributions are requested 
to: "Team Alex" which is the Harned United Methodist Church Relay for Life Team.
