Page 1, OBITUARY
W. L. HUCKEBY PASSES AWAY
     Mr. HUCKEBY died at "Shrewsbury", his home on Charlotte Harbor, near 
Punta Gorda, Florida on Wednesday July 23 (Wednesday was on July 22), 1903.  
Age 65, William Lamb HUCKEBY, a native of Indiana, the son of the late Joshua 
Brannon HUCKEBY and Rebecca LANG HUCKEBY.
     Residents of Breckinridge County for many years, previous to his removal 
south, having married Miss Nannie J. SHREWSBURY PATE of "Walnut Hill", near 
Hites Run (Breckinridge County), by whom he was the father of two sons, now 
grown.  A daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. John Allen SMART, of Beaumont, 
Texas, also survives him and 15 grandchildren.  His only living sister is Mrs. 
Isabelle de la Hunt of "Virginia Place" Cannelton (Perry County, Indiana), 
remaining at the homestead, which 4 generations of HUCKEBY family have 
occupied.
