Dorothy Faye Oelze Huffines, age 63 of Hardinsburg, KY died Sunday, June 14, 
2009 at Medco Center. She was born in Breckinridge County on October 5, 1945, 
the daughter of the late Cletus Stephen and Alma Regina Wethington Oelze. 
Dorothy was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a graduate of St. 
Romuald High School. She retired from Galante Studio and enjoyed reading, 
watching TV, traveling and horseback riding. Dorothy loved spending time with 
her family and her dog "Tippy".

She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law: Sherman and Mazie 
Oelze
2 sisters: Peggy Hazelwood and Shirley Oelze
1 brother-in-law & nephew: Gaylord and Patrick VonAllman
2 nieces: Sharon Oelze and Karen Nimmo

Dorothy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law and their children: Paul 
and Patricia Huffines, Rhiannon, Kayleigh and Kaidyn
5 brothers: Paul (Pat) Oelze of Charlestown,IN
Danny (Patsy) Oelze, John (Jean) Oelze, Joe (Marion) Oelze and David (Carol) 
Oelze of Hardinsburg, KY
4 sisters: Minnie (Joe) Nimmo, Mary (Donnie) Vessels and Jamesetta (Ron) 
Whitfill of Hardinsburg, KY
Lettie VonAllman of Lanesville,IN

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 11AM at St. 
Romuald Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Bickett officiating. Burial in the 
church cemetery. Visitation at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8PM 
and after 8:30AM on Wednesday.
