OBITUARY
     The Reverend Guthrie H. Hughes, age 95, of Owensboro, Daviess County, 
Kentucky, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at Leisure Years Nursing Home in 
Owensboro.  The Reverend Hughes was born in Kingswood, was a retired minister of 
the Church of the Nazarene for 25 years, retiring in 1957, and a retired salesman 
for CMI Chemical Corporation.  He was a member of Church of the Nazarene.  His 
wife, Mary C. Fallon Hughes, preceded him in death on May 5, 1998, as well a 
daughter, Mary G. Gallman in 1976.
Surviving are:
one son
two daughters
9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren
     Graveside services were held Friday, February 28, 2003, at Kingswood 
Cemetery with the James H. Davis Funeral Home, Owensboro, in charge of 
arrangements.
