Ernest C. Hurst, 43, of Route 2, Lewisport, died Wednesday, October 14 (1987), 
at his home.  He was born in Breckinridge County and was a self-employed logger 
and a member of First Baptist Church, Lewisport.  Survivors include:
his wife:

four sons:
Darrell Hurst of North Carolina
Lee Hurst of Lewisport
Kevin and Todd Hurst, both at home
three daughters:
Ashley Hurst at home
Tonya Hurst of Lewisport
Shelley Brickey of Lewisport
his father:
Lonard Hurst of Hawesville
three grandchildren
a brother:
Thomas Hurst of Hardinsburg
eight sisters:
Rose Tindle of Hawesville
Opal Cartwright of Hawesville
Lona Embry of Cloverport
Zella Embry of Cloverport
Elizabeth Boling of Owensboro
Nancy Chancellor of Fordsville
Katherine Arrington of Reynolds Station
Dolly Mattingly of Louisville
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Pisgah Church, Breckinridge 
County, with burial in the church cemetery.  Taylor-Raymond Funeral Home, 
Lewisport, was in charge of arrangements.

Note:  He was buried in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, not Mt. Pisgah.
