OBITUARY
     Mrs. Annie SMITH JACKSON, age 85, of Cloverport, Ky in Breckinridge County, 
died on Saturday, November 6, 1982 at the Medco Center (Nursing Home), in 
Hardinsburg.  She was born on October 31, 1897, the daughter of the late Aaron 
and Cordie BLUE (BALLOU/BALLOW) DOWELL.  She is survived by: 
her husband, I. V. JACKSON
four daughters:
Mrs. Edna DOWELL of Harned, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Pauline ARNOLD of Sample, Ky (Breckinridge County)
Mrs. Virginia SMITH of Tennessee
Mrs. Dorothy SIMPSON of Hardinsburg, Ky
three sons:
R. L. SMITH of Route 2, Hardinsburg, Ky
Willie SMITH of Route 2, Hardinsburg, Ky
Cager SMITH of Custer, Ky (Breckinridge County)
two step-sons:
Arthur JACKSON of Cloverport, Ky
Donald JACKSON of Cloverport, Ky
17 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren
1 step-grandson; one step-great grandson
     The funeral was held on Monday, November 8, 1982 from Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home chapel in Hardinsburg.  Burial followed in Sample Cemetery.
